While I strolled the aisles of Wal-Mart, Target, L.L.Bean, Eddie Bauer, Nordstrom’s, Sports Authority, Macy’s and a dozen other stores, I discovered 90 percent of the tags read, “Made in China”! Yes, a good many other tags showed, “Made in Bangladesh” ; “Made in India” ; “Made in Mexico” ; “Made in Japan” and several other countries.
I found scant few that read, “Made in America”! read more
Folks I always try to buy American as often as possible because I want to keep a brother or sister working here, I want to keep the dollars here, I want to keep the dollars away from other countries that would rather see us dead and buried and are more then happy to aid in our economical destruction. We are rapidly coming close to the end of what our grandfathers created for us in the form of one of the greatest manufacturing countries in the world, there was a point where if we could dream it up we could build it and it brought a wealth to this country that has never been known. We still have dreams and desires but it now seems to revolve around the latest worthless gadget at the lowest cost and we want it right now and we sure as hell do not want to work, wait or pay anything for it. Our time is coming, maybe not today or maybe not tomorrow but we are going to be in a position where we are not going to be creating any wealth and then we won't be able to afford all those shiny new toys either, then what?
