Companies Shun Violent Mexico
Complete story here
By NICHOLAS CASEY and JAMES R. HAGERTY
MEXICO CITY—Growing numbers of companies are deciding to limit their investments in Mexico because of spiraling drug-related violence in one of the world's most important emerging markets.Sounds like a good plan to me, I am all for jobs moving here and hopefully staying here, especially the manufacturing type. Mexico is loosing out on billions of investment dollars due to the drug violence in the country, roughly 10,000 killed a year in the past few years. It is no small wonder companies are taking a second look before they invest in the country.
