Baby boomers near 65 with retirements in jeopardy

CHICAGO – Through a combination of procrastination and bad timing, many baby boomers are facing a personal finance disaster just as they're hoping to retire. Starting in January, more than 10,000 baby boomers a day will turn 65, a pattern that will continue for the next 19 years.

 This article has some good insight as to where we as a people are going with respect to our current system and practices, we no longer save and we live on credit. Our planning future is five minutes ahead and no longer 30 to 40 years, we can not keep up this type of financial behavior.
